Warpology began as a business when Lois Erbland could no longer work as a nurse. Her other main interest were in the fiber arts. Weaving, Spinning, Knitting, and Beading have been a major passions in her life. She started weaving in 1973 after week long lessons from Melvina McGarr, Owners at the time of Norwood Looms. To pursue the goal of forming the company, Lois Erbland graduated magna cum laude from Haywood Community College in Clyde NC 2008 with an associates degree in Professional crafts - Fiber.Winning a Second place in Accessories at the Blue Ridge Fiber Show in 2008 was a thrill! After these years of experience as a fiber artist this combined her goals and dreams. Battling health problems and pursuing fiber art are her main activities plus enjoying the beautiful Blue Ridge mountain area with her husband and two fur children.
