Warping paddle
Mood:  celebratory

I've had this warping paddle for years. Read many a article on how to use one and couldn't figure it out. Thanks to Norcraft weavers and Mary Lulich who taught us. Had a warp on  the loom in no time! 8 strands at a time. This is really going to come in handy!

New studio and updated webpage
Mood:  a-ok

Warpology has a home now! We had a small shed built for my husband and I took over the larger one. I have my rug loom, AVL and soon a new to me 8 shaft Norwood. DH was upset that I put the sewing machine in the shed so it is going back into the house and I will have lots of room for dyeing and weaving.

So in this picture the Machine under the green cloth will be gone and the Baby wolf is already sold!

This side will stay the same except I have all my yarn on the shelves in the back.

There is a new page on my site called New Work. Three Scarves that were pole dyed and two beaded bracelets.  Also I have an etsy shop now!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/Warpology

Does computer work ever end?
Mood:  caffeinated
Topic: website/ artfire

Like housework I do believe computer work is an ongoing thing! Found out that I needed meta tags on my web page and some updating and added photos and tweaked it etc etc. Have been working the 45 day plan on Artfire and that is how I found out that my website wasn't going into search engines much. ESO oh my. With my Step daughters help my Art Fire site gets a 99% rating on a  free website grading site. Warpology not so much but some of the things they marked it down on wasn't really fair. Tripods picture didn't have a have a description nor did Artfire's Rapid Cart, Basically nothing I could control.

I didn't know about the meta tags because our class never got that far. We got bogged down way earlier than that what with a book that was no good and the teacher wasn't familiar with the new Dreamweaver. Not to mention the computer illiterates in the class, whoops just mentioned them. It has been awhile since I used that program but it came back to me fairly quick. Even code isn't as frightening as it was in the beginning. The Teacher was a real character in that class, he was retired from NASA wrote instruction, job duties etc. Quite the hacker for a 70 year old guy. Off the record taught us some hacking tricks.

Scarf Progress
Mood:  caffeinated
Topic: progress on scarf

This is Sunny my weave helper cat.I started to work on my scarves again and had assistance from him and my other new helper Miss Kitty.  Sunny has a habit of doing somersault next to the closet door he did one then a half a one. Told him no points for technique so he came back and did another somersault. LOL time to feed them Missy was under the loom.  The scarves are in the same pattern as my shawl they are turning out to be a whole other critter, which is ok. Finished the polar bears.. The guild is doing a winter project to make a calendar with projects that are inspired by  your birth month.
